Afshan Nayyir has worked for Croda for over 13 years, and over 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a highly experienced formulator who has valuable expertise in colour cosmetics, sun care formulating and sun care claims testing. She currently specialises in presenting at various personal care seminars and working with customers to develop sun care products, and she is very well aligned with consumer needs for sun care. Her expertise, dedication and passion make her a valuable contributor in the personal care industry.

Kathryn’s career in the beauty and personal care industry spans from raw ingredient manufacture to final product development with experience stemming both marketing and R&D. After graduating in Biology at the University of Leeds, Kathryn started her career in marketing at Croda, completing the Commercial Graduate Development Programme. Kathryn then spent 10 years in R&D at Unilever driving innovation through consumer insights and claims substantiation for a number of global brands such as Dove, TRESemmé, Lux and Clear. In December 2024, Kathryn re-joined Croda as the Skin Care and Sun Care Marketing Manager for the EMEA region.
