From an overall panel of 34 female volunteers with a mean age of 59, 21 individuals had a prominent tear trough. The tear trough is a hollow that runs from the nose under the eyes. For 6 weeks, panellists applied a cream containing 2% Majestem™ to their face twice a day, compared to a placebo, with the following results:
