Goji, Lycium Barbarum, also named wolfberry, is an exotic fruit native to China 's Tibet. Goji berries grow in the wild in the Himalayas and are cultivated in northern China.
Goji berries have long played an important role in traditional Mongolian, Tibetan and Chinese medicine, where they are believed to fortify immune functions, to restore vitality, to ameliorate blood circulation and to stimulate tissue development.
